Strongevity™
Living longer matters. Remaining strong is what makes it worthwhile.
What Is Strongevity?
Strongevity is a practical application of the ideas introduced in HARD TO KILL. While HARD TO KILL establishes the philosophy of aging deliberately rather than passively, Strongevity takes one essential pillar of that philosophy — strength as the limiting factor of longevity — and develops it into a clear, biologically grounded system.
Rather than chasing constant intensity or doing “a little of everything all the time,” Strongevity emphasizes signal clarity: knowing when the body should repair and when it should build. This distinction becomes increasingly important with age, as recovery capacity narrows and mixed signals produce weaker results.
The Biological Framework
At the core of Strongevity is The AMPK–mTOR Method™, a structured approach that aligns training with the body’s natural repair-and-build rhythms: AMPK-biased days emphasize repair, metabolic health, and recovery mTOR-biased days emphasize strength, muscle preservation, and resilience By separating these signals across the week, Strongevity allows adults to continue getting stronger without undermining recovery, mobility, or long-term health. This is not a workout program. It is a way of organizing stress, recovery, and progression over years — not weeks.
How Strongevity Fits Within HARD TO KILL remains the primary intellectual home — the mission, mindset, and philosophy. Strongevity is a companion work. HARD TO KILL explains why resilience matters Strongevity explains how to preserve strength as we age Together, they form a coherent approach to aging with intention Strongevity does not replace HARD TO KILL, and it does not create a separate system. It deepens one critical dimension of it.
Who is it for?
Aging adults
Strongevity is written for adults who want to remain physically capable, confident, and independent as they age, particularly those entering or navigating their 60s and beyond.
Trainers working with older adults
We’re not just here for the now. We love creating lasting relationships with our clients and growing with them over time.
Clinicians interested in long-term physical capacity
We bring structure where it counts and adaptability where it matters. Our methods are clear, but always responsive.
